Elizabeth joined CNDC in 2015 as a staff accountant, was promoted to senior staff accountant in 2016, and named controller in 2021. She holds a degree in Accounting from Strathmore College in Nairobi, Kenya. With more than a decade of progressive nonprofit experience, Elizabeth applies her accounting and grants management expertise to overseeing the day-to-day finance operations under the direction of the CFO. She has particular expertise in government grant management. Elizabeth was previously the Business Manager at Royal Palm Academy in Naples, FL.
Inspired by her time spent volunteering with an organization supporting Rural Community Development Programs in the Southeast Asia region, Elizabeth developed a passion for charitable work. She loves working at CNDC and views her role as an opportunity to provide projects with the support they need to build and develop their communities, one program at a time. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
