Designed to Go Far’s program seeks to bridge the gap between the classroom and the community by teaching engaging standards-based lessons in science and social studies as well as providing field trips around the state. They believe that a stronger emphasis on science and social studies, opportunities, accountability, and resiliency (SOAR) are the key to helping students at the 4th grade level thrive. They plan to do this by taking students on field trips that connect to jobs and hobbies in Colorado, as well as combining 4th grade state education standards, to see students inspired by their learning and community.
